Erdal Güleç

Erdal Güleç joined theBDO Türkiye as a tax partner in 2021. He has expertise in company restructurings, M&A transactions, tax audits, tax disputes and international taxation. He has articles written on various tax issues in professional journals. He has the title of Sworn in Certified Public Accountant.

He has a total 9 years public sector experience, including 3 years as an Auditor in the Turkish Court of Accounts and 6 years as a Tax Inspector in the Ministry of Finance. During his public service, he conducted public/tax audits on many public institutions and leading companies in different sectors. In 2012, he worked as a coordinator for 6 months at the Tax Inspection Board.

After his public service, he worked as a Financial Affairs Advisor at Sabanci Holding for 6 years and then at Cimsa, a Group company, as Financial Affairs Director for 2 years. In this period, he coordinated all financial affairs processes of the Sabanci Group companies, including tax, capital markets, Turkish Commercial Code, investment incentives related issues. He also assumed important responsibilities in the domestic and international restructuring transactions, asset/share purchase and sales projects, transfer pricing, investment/tax incentives and tax optimization processes of the Group and Çimsa.

He completed Executive MBA graduate program at Sabanci University in 2017 and Law undergraduate progam at Istanbul Kultur University in 2018.
